Wow nice

Wow this is really nice you really pushed the limit on this one, making a very deep vibe come out of all the sounds and mixture of this, so for this I was really impressed, The "VOICES" really keep this going strong and keep it exciting and thats what I really liked about this piece.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Honestly this was a solid piece all on its own so no changes what so ever.

Official AIM Review!

Nice cinematic style opening, FX play... I find myself wanting a little less white noise at 0:35.

Chord progression is definitely giving me that night sky feel, stars dropping out of the sky.

Mixing at 1:04 is a little weak on those filtered drums. I'd like a fuller impression of that bass drum, a little more room. It sounds like some parts of your mix have been run through a lo-fi FX, saturated a bit much, or may have been mixed with a little less headroom than needed prior to compression.

Synth at 3:47 is a bit too loud in the melody. I don't think the bass and drums can quite sustain it.

Your outro is pretty strong. Vocals are just a bit too loud for accompaniment also.

Compositionally, however, this piece is great. I give a solid 8 out of 10 on that alone. Minor mix issues and some possible clipping aside, I'd give a 8.8.

Always love your tunes. Thanks for turning out to this year's AIM!

An inspiring and spacey piece for a starry and equally inspiring painting! When the static starts fading in it's almost like a highway through the stars - traffic of the cosmos. Not as lonely and void of life as I thought but dynamic and full of voices. I like the wavy synth, and how it all jumps into the rhythm in that perfectly slow and spacey way. Really cool. It's like those girls calling out to the stars. Ambient, smooth, with well-blended vocals and a pretty spacey vibe. Though the melody doesn't change much throughout the voices help keep it fresh, and it's always flowing, always fluent and brewing with energy. I love the vibe but: think it would've been nice with some shifts in the beat too. Some moments of silence with the voices. Some more variation, somehow, amidst those loudest bits. Also really compressing the frequency range with the loudness levels there! I know it's a trend but: do feel the dynamics come across better without. Overall great work.

---Official AIM review---

I like the ominous ambient vibes at the beginning. The pacing is really slow, but the warm pads that fade in by around :25 are gorgeous. I like the bright synth at :40 too. Even though it sounds a lot like a Nexus preset, it fits the texture really well. The beat at 1:11 is really creative, and the vocals are a nice touch. There’s a lot of reverb in the texture, but it doesn’t detract from the mix too much. It would be nice if you had filtered a tad bit of treble out of the distorted snares, but overall the frequencies are really well-balanced in this piece. I would’ve liked to hear some stronger melodic content at some point, perhaps at the breakdown at 2:40. It also couldn’t hurt to have a bit more variety on the second refrain. The atmosphere and mood knocked this piece out of the park, though. The pads are absolutely gorgeous during that breakdown, and the stop-start transition at 3:16 works surprisingly well. The exposed vocals at the end are also quite effective as a coda. Overall, really admirable work here. Composition could’ve been a bit more creative, but that’s my only big complaint. Keep up the good work!
