This song is really catchy. I feel really nerdy listening to punk music as an adult but I like to throw on NOFX every so often when I'm driving. I can bounce it.
The guitar squeals in this track were funzorz. Those arps towards the end were love <3
I'm tempted to say the vocals are a little off putting but I'm really coming to respect vocals more as I beat box. Using your voice as an instrument is an under rated skill because it comes so naturally for some people. It's easy to look at a good vocalist and envy their shit like "I wish they sounded more like Freddy Mercury or Beyonce. I wish I could sing, fuck this person." Also, punk music vocals aren't supposed to be perfect.
THE REVERB. That's what I find off putting about the vocals. A lot of original punk artists disdained special effects. I think I hear why. Maybe put some mid to low emphasis on that vocal track and let it rip. I'd turn that crash down a tad, it fills up a lot of space as a pad.
I listened to this a few hundred times on loop. I forking love that squealing hook melody. Have my mohawked punk babies.
