This is brilliant! I love the vocals and the chords.
This is a 6/8 waltz/ballad that I wrote recently. I wrote this song on an old Stanley piano that sits in my living room. When I started to make this recording of the song, I was so attached the sound of the old Stanley on that song, so I set up a microphone in my living room and recorded myself playing and singing the song (I did have to manually quantitize it though). Then, once I had that recording I layered everything else on top. I'm pleased at how smoothly the piano fits in with the rest of the mix. Anyway here it is folks. "This Is The Time", and the first time I used a live upright piano on a recording.
Here are the lyrics if interested.
I’m losing my patience for this time you crossed the line.
No I can’t, I can’t ignore this anymore.
So honey, this is the time.
This is the time for reckoning.
This is the time for awakening
This is the time for the ending.
No time to waste for calling it quits.
I’ll make a point to keep all of my pride.
There’s no turning back, well from that we can’t hide.
I’m playing a losing game, a game I was never meant to win.
I try, I try and still it’s all the same.
It won’t work at all in that way.
Chorus
You say it wasn’t you, I’m doubtful that’s the truth.
What does that rectify, when you keep telling your lies?
Instrumental Interlude
Chorus Again

This is brilliant! I love the vocals and the chords.
Damn bro, its a shame people don't give this kind of music as much credit anymore. You would have been a star in the 50s, 100%
Really cool tune!
Amazing) I also humbly ask for lyrics to be posted here, I'd love to learn and hum it while on my way home from work...
