Final battle of FF6!

Rated 3.5 / 5 stars

Solid, but not amazing either.

It's good that the song doesn't have anything off-beat, but i have to say that the string-like instrument, the increased tempo of the middle bit, and the percussions didn't make the song feel fitting to the "Dancing Mad" title, compared to the original SNES version and Black Mages' enhanced remake. So i'm left with some disappointment. :(

MooMan911 responds:

Fankely, I'm not surprised you are a little disapointed. However, at least it is solid, like you said. Thing is, I don't know of anything in any music program that lets you change tempo for a specific section of a song. :( Anyways, thanks for reviewing! :D

I have a few things to point out.....

Keep in mind that this is a good remix that isnt half bad, but:

1) It pains me that people speed up the second half of the song, not just you, so dont feel that this is why your remix isnt a 10.
2) It sounded "like" a video game.....
What I mean is that it sounded digital, almost like a ring tone...a good one. Add more instruments to it, and it will sound even better.
3) I went through it again and it definitely sounds like you changed the second play through of the song at the end compared to the first playthrough.

And that is all I see is wrong, The rest you passed with straight A's, Nice work.

Lol. Well, for the second, slower half, I couldn't slow it down without slowing the entire song. I can't change the speed for a certain section of the song. :( Thanks for reviewing though! :D
