Today's my birthday, so I figured I'd give you all a nice gift. I've been working on this one for a while, and I must say I'm pretty satisfied with it! I hope you all enjoy! :D

Time just moves so fast
I'm constantly looking back
On what things used to be
As far as the eye can see
I always always ask
Why am I looking back
And why am I still here
In a mind of uptight fears
If only there was a way
For me to escape
These monsters in my brain
They're making me go insane
If only there was a day
Where I could escape
These creatures in my brain
They're keeping me awake

Happy birthday b r u h :3

This is one of the best electronic songs with lyrics I've ever heard!
Happy Birthday Zyzyx! :)

It's been a LONG time since I've reviewed one of your songs. Here we go!
0:00 Chill but cute. I usually don't like vocals in electronic music but this was very well done and I liked it. It definitely helped the song.
0:48 That rising bassline was awesome.
0:52 Those thicc drums were modulated well with great sidechaining. I loved this part.
1:17 Great, clean buildup. Those little chippy tunes that poked their head in the song were fantastic and refreshing.
1:34 Clean as heck.
1:43 Caught me off guard at first, but then that kick hit hard. That 3xOsc that kept poking in quickly held that drop together more than you think. The melody was a bit hard to find at first. I think it's because of how oddly the drop started. At 1:56 the melody became clear. Probably my favorite part of the song. The drop was your usual choppy hard hitting lovable sound.
2:09 That fade-away was sick. The light tune that was there in the beginning was incredible.
2:16 Fantastic drum. Nice chill part. Structured well. Not much else to say.
2:42 Another awesome part. It's great future bass type stuff. The vocals that faded in were fantastic as well. The drums were clean. The hats played a unique tune as well.
3:07 OH SNAP. Probably my favorite part. Rising bassline, well-chorused strong vocals, sharp snappy chiptune. Sick part dude. That tune at 3:13 and 3:18 was clean and I love it when you do stuff like that.
3:48 Unique drumline on the buildup.
3:59 If this part immediately started HARD instead of with the future bass slide in at first, it would have been fantastic.
4:00 Cool and good.
4:06 The rise here was strong.
4:26 Well designed and fitting end.

Overall, your biggest problem was at the beginning of the drops where it was hard to find the melody. Great stuff though! :)

DJ-Zyzyx responds:

Thanks so much man for the advice. I don't usually get reviews like these so it's really helpful when somebody does leave one. I've had multiple people tell me now that the main problem with the song is that it's hard to hear a melody in the drop, and now I can kinda see what they meant. Thanks again :D

Noice man!

you should try singing more often but the dub-step is suburb
