Nice to hear an acoustic song for a change.

"For a time, they felt content. The crew found solace and beauty in yet another city, and the captain...he found love in paradise. She was all he wanted, and the longer he spent in her city, the less he dwelled on his journey. But at a moment's notice, she would disappear, only to reappear later, asking where he had gone and recounting the day's adventures. Her back was always to him, and the closer he seemed to get, the farther she would run ahead. Part of him knew he was suffering, but he woke each day thinking only of the good. Those days, she led, and so he followed.
When it was time to move on, the crew called for him, begged him to leave the city behind. One day, he finally agreed, and though he was more lost than ever, their captain led them through the sky once more."

"The Sunbird" is a concept album about a group of kids whose town is raided in a hostile occupation by a foreign country. Not content to live as prisoners or die meaninglessly, they escape the ashes of the lives they knew by stealing a zeppelin, the Sunbird. With nowhere to call home, the friends sail the skies, traveling the world in search of a new beginning.
