The idea I was going for was trying to paint a picture. A cartoon frog is hopping along, that's the triplets in the bassoon part. The bass clarinet in it's high register is a dog that joins the frog, either to eat it or simply tag-along. The contrabassoon is a pick-up truck who's driver is minding their own business and doesn't see the animals until it's too late.

Since it's a cartoon I had in mind, no guts splattering anywhere or anything like that, just a simple "ouch!" I got hit by a truck!

Cool sounds good

I completely visualized the frog and the dog together on the truck. And the cartoon played in my head as the song played... Ty what the heck type of sorcery are you doing to me?!?

Tyguy80s responds:

I suppose the kind that happens when you spend way too long creating on a song that's two mins. long. Seems the story I put below did seem right... Perhaps the MIDI patch worked portrayed the bassoon, bass clarinet, and contrabassoon correctly. Variables a plenty Chutney.
