so relaxing
A Music Box that holds a Symphony inside as it begins to sing.
My first song of the year, and by Orchestra size one of the biggest I've done yet.
A movement of duel violins arriving in and out of the orchestra.
Enjoy ;)
so relaxing
I love the sound of that music box, which one are you using? I've never heard your work before but the first thing I noticed is how great a melody writer you are. The woodwind during the midsection could afford to have a bit more reverb on it! The part starting at 2:40 reminds me very much of Pirates of the Caribbean. In terms of the woodwind on that part, is it the oboe? - watch your timing. Especially on 3:25 and onwards. It sounds like you were writing in free-time because some of the notes come in a little early/late. The melodies at the end were gorgeous. At 4:10 there's two tiny little clicks in the left ear of my headphones.
Really happy to stumble across this though. Will be listening to some of your other tracks :)
I really like music box bells it's my favorite sound.
And the melody made me feel free and fresh m8
Epic! ;)
Appreciated haha ;)
Cute melody at the beginning. The transition at :44 could've been a tad smoother. You seemed to make a ritardando into it, which can work, but I think the timing could've been a bit better, perhaps with a big up-bow crescendo or something. That said, the section with the violins sounded absolutely beautiful. I also love when the oboe comes in at 1:34. The transition at 2:31 isn't particularly smooth either, but I appreciate the change-of-pace. Up until that point, the piece had gone quite a long time without much of a change in energy. The melody at 3:35 is probably my favorite part of the piece. The ending was well done, too. Nice job making it come full-circle. :) Keep up the good work!
I love in depth reviews like this, I will surely work on the transitions to evolve more smoothly. Hope you can review some of my early works as well, thanks. ;)
