This time, I tried to try and create a song with an real atmosphere; a song that tells a story. Which I kind of had to do since I'm using this as a sort of filmscore for a random project I had to do. Anyway, here's what I imagine as I listen to this:
It starts off at sunset. The air is filled with warmth, the sky a dark shade of orange. Everything is calm and relatively quiet as the streets gradually empty out.
Then, the sun dips completely below the horizon. Pitch black, or something near it, ensues as day transitions into night. Then, the transition is complete, and chaos breaks out.
The night is dark. The wind howls. The moon is the only thing that stands in the way of pitch black; the absence of light in any form. Then, just as the clock hits midnight, a blast of lightning strikes the earth, burning the ground. The night becomes even darker.
Finally, the night enters its final stage. Day is about to break. And then it does; and everything reverts to normal. As if nothing had ever happened.
Inspired by somewhat by DuoCore - Dignity and NK - Fracture.
