Updated: Got them vocals down!! Don't know what I'm doing with vocal mixing cause never done it before ha! Haven't sang since 2006 as well, hope it sounds alright! Go easy! :D

Just sharing the new tune! Still just trucking along on my own... :( Makes things slow! Hope the synth doesn't detract too much for too many! Overall works pretty good I think!

For anyone interested,

Using Mixcraft 8 for DAW, layed the drums and synth down on the keyboard with that (eee I know, but it works!) using an old Digitech RP 80 for guitar, bass is squeaky clean.

sounds pretty good!
All I can say is put more snare in the drums. They sound a little empty without them.
Also, the synths don't exactly go with the rest of the instrumentals all that well, so maybe make it less future-techno and more like the background synth that plays.

I agree, I'll probably switch the kit for the snare and give it a bit more pop and add a bit more, further testing with the synth it is, was kinda iffy about it!
