This has been a huge team effort, with Loman and Fireball01e, this piece was recorded at Lomax studios, Dorset. We mainly used outboard instruments, acoustic pianos and a selection of cool instruments from the 70's and 80's. This was mainly recorded using a small format Neve Valve console (Vintage) and a Tascam X-48 MK2. It was mastered using TC electronics 6000 outboard mastering engine (which we used to make this track sound good on surround sound applications, if you want the 5.1 version give drop me a message). We used a Baldwin upright with a mix of a Leslie made spring reverb and a custom 20ft plate. We used a Fender Rhodes electric piano, we also used a Eminent Solina with Sovtek Small Stone, Yamaha Tyros 3 used for church organ and string sounds. The brass was a combination of a Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 and Kontakt 5's Complete Brass section sample pack. Dance pulse was made with a Alesis A6. Drums were made on a Linn drum and the rest was recorded using a Roland V-Drum set then chopped up into a loop.
Vocal version will be released in the next few days.

Thanks dude! This is one of my favourite tunes of this year so far.
This was so tear jerking when you showed me that recording on Christmas eve, It reminded me of some really bad times and as I know you picked this subject of time, I think it fits it so well. Loman's studio was really a must for this project and the mix is really well thought out. The verse reminds me of 2Pac, the chorus JMJ and so many more artists then you can poke a stick at. I can't wait until the vocal version comes out. You should consider doing it as a rap piece, which I think would fit really well.
I listen to it now and the emotional reaction it causes me is immense, I never knew such a small riff could turn into such a amazing piece of music. Thanks for your input, and support when I did the vocal (Complete) version.
