First movement of the concerto. I have a saxophone section in this movement too. The soloist switches between a soprano (normal) carinet and a bass clarinet. A concept with this concerto is that it'll have some technically difficult part too since my Mother did play such pieces like Czardas and Arban's variations on the Carnival of Venice and such.

The theme is a musical retelling of all the stories she told me when she played in grade school band programs. My Mom's been getting sicker recently, so I hope to have a concerto dedicated to her and get it done before she passes away. More importantly, I hope the sickness will go away soon.
