Passionate Freedoms

First a question; is this song based totally off of your imagination or off of a real peoples.

Maestro, what I love about your songs is how they are always emotionally driven, epic, and orchestrated wonderfully.

The strings are a work of beauty; if you didn't read my response to your review I reccomended East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra... I understand this is expensive but I really feel that if you saved up enough money for it and obtained it you would not be sorry.

With better quality sounds I can guarantee miracle music.

MaestroRage responds:

Well I very rarely listen to other peoples music, and while I realize that this is a big mistake *because i'm essentially re-inventing the wheel at so many parts >_>*, it is how I started this hobby.

I was doing some collabs with some guitar players, and I got frustrated at the guitar itself. It would not be played like any conventional string instrument, which was of course, an obvious point. This piece was more for the practice in manipulating the instrument then anything else, and the focal point was the strumming.

Apparently I failed at some point, a guitar player friend of mine said there was a chord in this song that could not be played with the guitar.

Oh well, more practice!

I will be buying East West Orchestra Gold + Pro, and maybe the String/Brass section of East West Platinum.

Before that though, I NEED to get East West Choirs, the wordbuilder feature makes me drool profusely.

And before that I need to get more Ram ._.

This piece you heard consumed up about 80% of my RAM, and only a measly 20% of my CPU.

Thank you for the review Final, I truly appreciate it. I'm glad you liked it!

I apologize for the late response!

Well done

Another brilliant piece from you. The whole thing was pretty much solid, except that the transition to the flute solo near the end seemed a bit rough, and the ending seemed a little too sudden. It just seemed like the change of pace was a bit too much (maybe that's what you were going for, I don't know). Outside of that, an excellent piece. Keep it up.

MaestroRage responds:

That part did seem a tad abrupt didn't it? It's a minor variation of the beginning "get up and go" segment, and it probably could have been handled better. I don't remember if it was lack of ideas, or lack of energy that resulted in a rushed entrance, but whichever it was, the music... she suffer for eternity because of such :(

I assure you, that will happen far less!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it ^^.

Another nice one

Overall this song has so many great qualities. I like the overall tone of this song, it really pleases me. Despite the euphonic voices, there are some awkward beats and rythem to you entrances, also regarding the entrances, there are some cords that sound a bit... absent. lol dont know how that works. It really takes off after the voices enter though, Great job. I really apprieciate your work!

MaestroRage responds:

I'm glad you feel that way. You know, entrances have always been a problem for me. Like writing a book, I could never really think of the perfect opening. To be honest, the part where the voices hops in, was the beginning of the project! I really liked how it was going, but couldn't just lay it on thick like that. So I made the intro at the end, and I just didn't know how to best portray it. I'm rather satasfied with this opening don't get me wrong, but it could be far better.

Thank you again for the review, i'm glad you liked it ^^.
