I spent the entire day on this track, completely lost myself and noticed hours had gone by, I was supposed to be somewhere today but this seemingly took priority.

As usual my favourite part is the second drop, I took a while getting the bass in the fills to do exactly what I wanted them to, aiming for that "pushed" sound that I've heard in a lot of Noisia basses recently, where it sounds like it's flattened against the noise wall, with lots of pitch modulation.

I like the high, plucked lead, it's not something I'd usually go for but I liked how it struck the melody and allowed some of the less conventional rhythms to not get lost thanks to it poking it's way into the top of the mix.
