I hate this hurricane
It's making me feel lots of pain
And I don't know how much longer I will last.

I hope I'll be all right
I don't want no one to fight
And I promise I'll get better than my past.

Today I burried you
And your brothers too.
I just want this day to end.
Why could I not defend?

This stupid hurricane
It's driving everyone insane
Though we got lucky 'cause it could've been much worse.

I could've slept through it
But that didn't seem too fit
I made sure we wouldn't end up in a hearse.

But the aftermath was bad
Today was the worst I think I've had,
They fought so hard and now their soul is gone.

I held their little corpse,
I had a breakdown of some sort
And I still think about it and I don't feel fine.

Today I burried you
And your brothers too.
I just want this day to end.
Why could I not defend?

At the end of the day
I have a lot to say.
The day might end though it feels like never
The bad memories will last forever.

So because this hurricane
Today I've felt lots of pain
