Description:
I once dreamt of a promised land, a place of everlasting piece and abundant beauty. The daytime sky was always a calming shade of blue, and it was populated by fluffy clouds with yellow highlights that extended the sun’s vitality. The sun, more vibrant than ever, served to reinvigorate the downtrodden that had recently arrived. The ground was covered by unending bright-green grass, trees with ever-autumn leaves, and a stunning array of flowers. The magenta from the flowers contrasted beautifully with the grass. Every aspect of the design here was thought out meticulously. The promised land is an island surrounding by luminous waters that lead to the unknown. Anyone who enters arrives by boat, but no one knows how they got on the boat to begin with. The journey from the sea to the island is brief, but it’s an exceptional experience. The island’s beauty is more apparent than ever when viewed from a distance.

thank you :D
I like the nature sounds and the bright strings. Reminds me of some of Waterflame's old tracks when he used to do more orchestral stuff. The melodic content is nice, and I like the ornaments (e.x., :55). May I ask where the string samples are from? I love the woodwind solos that start at around 1:35 - that's probably my favorite part of the piece, in fact. Excellent progression and harmonies throughout, guys. I'm a huge fan of the bells during the outro as well. Nice job bringing out the emotion. You really painted a picture with this one. Congrats on the 5th place finish! :)
The string samples are from Kontakt Factory Library, which came with Komplete 11. I'm glad you liked the woodwind solos! It received a bit of criticism for being melodically divergent, but I still don't regret it.
Thanks for the review! :)
Dude, way too damn pretty. Excellent work.
