Shade Man Stage

Tonight I bring a great Halloween surprise, inspired in my favorite Mega Man boss, stage and music.
So many of us surely played the first Mega Man title for SNES: Mega Man 7, and I'm sure more than one got excited with the vampire Robot Master that sucks Mega Man's blood in midair with a creepy screech... He was spooky, terrifying, absolutely epic and elegant.

Well, this is my rendition to the great king of shadows: Shade Man... The boss that made Mega Man 7 a worth one to play and remember.
Just check out the night and dark feeling I give to this track along with some nice beat, with a little bit melancholic feeling... Some of my friend told me this track has a lot of Nightwish influence, and well, after hearing it a million times, I guess it seems so... Btw, Nightwish is one of my favorite bands ever.
I'm really glad of what I got here, so I hope you enjoy this masterpiece too.

Happy Halloween everybody!

okay, I'm not even going to try and make a review as long as Fyrem's, but I'll give a worthwhile one.
this is literally everything I expected from you. it's amazing!
it's very dark, but also very energetic at the same time. very spooky...
the sounds blend together wonderfully to create this spooky sound that not many can make. good job!
everything is pieced together very well, and the sound is amazing.
5/5

Thank you so much... I really got this track in my head for some days and when I started writting the arrangement, it just flowed very well... I felt really inspired for this one, as Shade Man is one of my favorite characters of my childhood. I'm glad you liked it. Happy Halloween!

By complete accident, you gave me exactly what I wanted, m'dear.

Helloooo, Miguel! Fyrem's back for a fun lil' review, and don't you worry: the rest of your other songs will follow :3 I just thought getting back to it using Halloween as an excuse would be perfect, so...! HAPPY HALLOWEEN, AND LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!

-Now, the main reason why I'm happy with this is that I've been listening to a lot of Shade Man remixes, namely this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do2UmpF4Olw by Karikari) and rediscovering this wonderful Robot Master theme has gotten me quite sensible to it.

-Which is why that piano from 0 to 37 seconds in fills me with happiness :3 The drums right after it are exactly what's needed for the track to explode, I'd say, though I must admit: I expected you to go fully orchestral with this one, but this is a pleasant surprise.

-That sound by 1:40 is why it's pleasant: I enjoy how the main melody is accompanied by these high-pitched, screeching-like sounds, it sounds fitting to my ears, mostly because the character's all about that.

-2:39: That return to the piano at the middle of the song is something I'm glad to find in your style again - just a fun lil' pause until it explodes again. Lovely stuff :3

-Second half, and wow, did not expect the remix to be that long - another pleasant surprise. At this point I expect a Ghoul'N'Ghost cameo any second now, unless you're going full Shade Man, which is fine too.

-Oooh... 4:20 is fun. We're 3/4 away from the end and the song goes back to being so... calm... Seems like you're really going for both the melancholic side, and the elegant one. I find that very appealing, since it's the main reason why I like the Karikari remix - it's a mix of eerie calmness and eerie energy.

-Aaaand it's over! Also, A+ for modifying your logo so that the Megaman helmet is behind the letters of your name, m'dear!
That being said, I'm glad to be here again! It's been a while, and your style's still very much recognizable, which to me is a good thing provided you know how to deviate from it from time to time.

Take care, Miguel! And once again: happy Halloween <3

MiguelVolkov responds:

My dear Fyrem and his super epic reviews!!! I was starting to miss you, man!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate the passion, interest and effort that you put into hearing my music, analyzing it and finally make the best reviews I ever get... I know you are really understaning my musical style and how I express myself through it and through Nintendo's music and that makes me feel grateful and inspired for making more epic tracks.
I wish you the best in this end of year, have a very very happy Halloween!
Take care, my friend.
