Awesome work and progression along with well-balanced sounds.
With the video link provided, it makes more sense and gives the real feel of tension.
Can easily imagine this in any action/strategy game or scene.
Keep em coming.
You think you're safe and drop your guard a little, but as you do, you realize you have been lured into a trap by the enemy. In an instant, from slinking covertly through enemy territory you are forced to dive and crawl through a hailstorm of bullets. Fists clenched and gritting your teeth, you steel your resolve to survive, knowing that any moment that next bullet could be your reaper.
---- Backstory continued from previous piece ----
This piece is what resulted from the realization that my friend needed something faster paced to serve as a background theme for battles and/or general gameplay.
After I had written it, I wanted to see how it works as background music. I fired up one of my favorite games - World of Tanks. What better way to test music meant for action packed moments than playing it in the background of an action packed game, right? As it turned out - big mistake! I ended up having one of the most heart-pounding matches to date... and the music only poured oil on that fire!
I even made a video showing what happened. It started innocent and run of the mill, but by the second half of it, a crazy 1 vs 4 struggle ensued. I included this piece looping in the background in an attempt to recreate the feel of the moment as the events unfolded: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ_WNy5xRGA&feature=youtu.be
Needless to say, I decided to turn the music off for any further matches that day.
My friend had one more request after I submitted this to him - which required me to first do a little bit of research as these were uncharted waters for me. Stay tuned for the final piece!
Note: I modified the end of the loop a little to post this piece here as too much residual sound wrapped around, making it awkward on first play.

Thanks! As I've already said, there's one more left from this series that I will post next week, and then I'll see if I can get anything else done in that time. There's at least a few pieces I have on the back burner that I could come back to and finish, or I could pull through with a fresh start. I need to make it a habit to complete and release a little more often - it should help me grow in a lot of ways.
