Right off the bat the quality of your instruments and drums are fantastic. Mastering is very well done, Loving the cinematic feel.

To me this sounds like menu music to a medieval game. But you could also use it on a battle scene, it sounds like it would fit well in any game within that genre.

From the name it seems like you were going for a feeling of a massive army marching into battle which I can easily picture in my mind listening to this. You could probably dub this over a battle scene from a movie and it would fit well.

I can't really think of any criticisms for this, it sounds very clean and well orchestrated. Ill give you a 10.

Qu4drupleForte responds:

Thanks for the 10, bud! Clean is probably the best I could hope for in these kinda tracks where things get super busy and it's hard to preserve the clarity of layered parts. To me the blaring french horns in this piece always gave me a kinda piratey vibe but the rest does lend itself more to that medieval imagery.

Very nice! I feel like the arrangement and composition of this are very good, but the music lacks a bit of energy and oomph. That's left to opinion I guess, but a bit more bass as well as some deeper bass drums would add to the energy a lot. Also, the faster-paced melodies sound a bit rough on a few of the instruments (before the middle of the song, for example), but that's an issue of the samples used and the way they're used. I really liked this overall though! Keep it up!

Qu4drupleForte responds:

Thanks Columbers! The bass and drums were heavier in the past but I was getting a lot of clipping and decided to tone it down, this must've taken away from the bass a bit too. And yes, the piccolos do sound a bit rough with the strings, this is something that happens a lot when I write fast lines for violins and piccolos that aren't in the higher register; I'm still working out ways to get more clarity and less scratchy nastiness in those kind of lines.

I like this. Very cinematic indeed. Reminds me of the stuff you hear on previews for some sort of action adventure movie or the intro to a action T.V show

Qu4drupleForte responds:

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing by the time it was done.

Honestly you could just do all this sith with Symphobia. Also mate, Orchestra Essentials IS compact Sym 1 + 2, so you don't need OE if you have Sym.

Very up beat song I enjoyed that alot
