Mary and Max has gone off to be my favorite animated film of all time. The way in maintains its sense of humor, while covering some of the most depressing aspects of life at the same time, shows itself to be one of the greatest combinations of drama and comedy I have ever seen. I love the weird art style, I love the characters voices, I love the story it tells, I love the things it made me feel and think about, and I just overall love the fucking balls it had. I've seen animated films that cover more adult things, that isn't anything ground breaking, but never to this level. Not to mention all of it had a purpose, and no point does it just seem the film is trying to be "Edgy". It all works. Perfect movie. 10/10.
