A cinematic track. I was inspired by listening to Hans Zimmer's film music, in particular from the films Inception and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Logic Pro X, Alchemy, EXS24.

[EDIT]: I remastered this and re-uploaded on Feb. 14, 2018. This was the first track I've ever really attempted to master, and the first master wasn't very good. So now I think there is more clarity and better sound with this one.

This is like movies musics !!! GG

FateModified responds:

Thank you! I'm really into cinematic music right now. :)

That piano is magic! I must say it did give me a bit of a sci-fi feel! but I must say (in just my opinion) I don't really agree with the sound that comes in around 1:26 (its off in in the background ) but other than that I think its its a solid track. It reminds me whenever optimus prime is giving his monologues at the end of the movies.

Thanks! I'm not sure what sound you are referring to, maybe the cymbal hits? There is also a harp that starts playing arpeggios at that point in the song. Oh well, thanks for listening and for the review! :)

Beautiful and emotional piece

FateModified responds:

Thanks!

love that melody. Nice use of reverse notes. If there is anything I could suggest working on it would be,
the bitrate sounds a bit low and the track flows well but feels perhaps a little too predictable in sections, but mostly i'd say very well done, look at the render settings to fix the bitrate, or the "bounce" settings before export.

FateModified responds:

Thanks! I "bounced" the project in Logic at 16-bit and 44.1 kHz into an aiff file, and then converted it to mp3 in Audacity. But after your comment, I went ahead and reimported the pre-mastered track at 24-bit and 192 kHz, remastered it, and bounced it at 24-bit and 48 kHz directly to an mp3 from Logic. I uploaded the new version, but to me it sounds about the same. I don't have enough mixing and mastering experience yet to notice subtle differences, I suppose.

Thanks for the review! :)
