hells yeah boy
you the man on this. haven't heard your guitar like this since that FF tune. proper lush i tell thee. would love to hear a fully aranged version of this.
did u write this? if so, job done sir. makes me wanna start playing guitar more:]
hush, it's lush
little run-down at the end is melting
Ta, fully arranged eh, that's just gave me an idea for a recap of the tune. Let's see if it works out ;)
Yep I wrote it, thanks, I've always loved your playing as well. We should collab again man, I will be having a lot more time for frolicking within a few weeks, let's cough up some madness.
I didn't know that you could fingerpick so well! I myself am a fingerstyle guitarist and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this. The thumb notes were very well placed, and the finger notes give a playful yet dark feel to the whole song. I particularly enjoyed how your changed your metre near the end of the song to suit your chords. Magic!
Honestly, WinTang there have been very few NG audio submissions that I have enjoyed as much as this. I'd rate you a 6 if I could, but I look forward to hearing more of this from you.
By the way, are you going Pinkpop in Landgraaf? Im a big Smashing Pumpkins fan so I might see you there :P. Keep it up big man, Ill look out for your next piece.
Wow, that was heartwarming really, I'd love to hear a fingerstyle thing out of you.
No Pinkpop for me this year, regrettably. Hope you have fun. The beer is fucking expensive and mixed with water, which has the severe side-effect of toilet intoxication.
You can still sell the tickets on E-bay though. Hehehehe.
Seriously though, thanks for the love there. I'll make sure to visit your page when I can spare some good time.
At first, the switching between major-7 chords and minor chords seemed a bit un-natural (sorry if I'm not absolutely correct in terminology; it's been a while since music theory classes...), but after a few repetitions I got used to it. The reverb, matched with the strong low-end sound, really does wonders for the mood of this track. Overall, it really is quite beautiful. Excellent composition, excellent performance; makes me want to take my acoustic out and practice a bit more often. 5/5.
Cheers ap, I've been picking it up since I saw that Andy McKee fellow on YouTube, hehe. Thanks a lot!
Well, well, well. Look who we got here, Mr. Mutzi Schnutzi...As requested, this review will be in fucking "GERMAN", so have fun translating. :P
Nettes Lied, muss man schon sagen.
Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 5 for Mutzi Schnutzi (2:40), raising its score from 4.67 to 4.71.
I only had to look up two words! :)
....tune i must say. i wish i let myself practice enough to develop on guitar. the tune is simply stunning mate, just sat here after a joint nicely chilled out, suits the mood beatuifully.
It has a certain 'warmth' about it, like an old vinyl record, which if you was going for is very cool. i think the reverb is a bit 'washy' in places mind, most notably in the lower range. maybe use more of an ambience setting, i dunno.
it's a really good recording of guitar tho, and the track stands out so you be gettin top marks as per usual.
keep it up, and thanks for cheking me tune out.
Thanks pitters, I think I'm going to switch to CoolEdit's Full Reverb for tracks like this, much more adequate.
I'm glad it could accompany you on one of your herbal journeys mate. Hehe.
