The looped chirping becomes unpleasant midway into this. It work well with the theme of death by creating a somewhat unsettling vibe, but using the SFX nonstop not only diminishes that effect, but it also creates a mild headache.

those bird chirps are OMINOUS. I think this really picks up when the violin comes in. ALSO the kick at the end (( represents heart beat? )) or just a tHEATRICAL way to end the song because I was thinking having that as a part of the composition for a longer duration could have really brought suspense and draw the listener in.
I really liked the layers, the continuous bell and the chirping and high whistling at the beginning was very intriguing and did well to prepare for the powerful violin.
