This simple little emotional piece is for someone very special to me. and all the other people who have been there for me. this is my thanks to you.
Not sure if it was a good idea for NGADM but i felt like just writing piano piece. its sad i don't have a mic or anything to record my piano so you can hear my fantastically sucky skills haha, but my computer running what i play into it will have to do.
This is an updated version of my song. it now doesn't have parts that are questionable. And it is what i want it to be now. My song. From my heart. To you.
I like the emotion at the beginning, especially with the floaty piano synth arpeggios. It certainly has a simplistic texture, but the simplistic texture gives it a lot of emotion too. The melodic content is strong here, and it’s very flowing and structurally coherent, which is good. I think you could’ve put more effort into the composition, despite the emotionally driven simplicity, but overall you won me over with this won. Keep at it, ColinMuir. ;)

really nice piano piece.
i have to admit, parts of this are still the same as river flows in you, such as the downward arp starting at 0:58. idk, i know that accidentally replicating melodies you've heard can happen and its annoying but..........
