Water Is Life

Supposedly replacement track for chip compo 2, but I believe this track worth something on its own.

I was honored to take part in Standing Rock defense. It was not a protest. It was a demonstration to show the establishments that we will not back down so they could destroy our life. And water is life.

For almost all my life, I never knew I'm part Cree. I knew my mother was born and raised in Canada, however not until she told me few months before her death. I remember telling her that I will go with a friend to North Dakota because they would need a hand there.

She then held my hand without saying anything, pulled me to sit down. And my mother told me the story of her childhood, how she was raised on a reservation by her father. She was Moose Cree. I swear this shit confused the heck out of me. But I listened. She told me that I'm part Cree and I should be proud of it.

It's always in my blood. To fight for what's worth. And there I went, weeks on Standing Rock with my people.

I'll be damned that I'm the first part Native orchestra composer to write something about activism of our people.

I think I have used most of the available choir libraries in here. Just for fun cos big choir is hard to mix when they are clashing together. When you spent so much time on the orchestra, and later you decided to drown it out with choir, it's truly daunting task. Didn't slept until 3 last night and I had work at 7.

I love your work. I love inspirational instrumental music like this. Very thurough and well put together track. right on with the activism, I try to get involved too. Canada is serious about MMJ and medical wellbeing. That's why BC got a bigger name than even US or netherlands. THEY ARE SERIOUS. Also I have the same issue going from real deep dubstep or drone to light melodical crispy instrumental/orchestra/choir. You should check out my soundcloud since I always post first dibs there. If you like my works enough on here, there are a few I don't like on here from the Solitude Lessons album I made. But everything else is good. You're really a cool dude doiing really awesome work. Well played.

amazing stuff you have on your SC.

Awesome work that flows smoothly like a water, carrying away anything it touches.

Thank you very much for your review, Alex. crap I still have to reply to a lot of reviews and I'm kept slacking off.

Beautiful. I feel like your passion really shines through here. A wonderfully composed piece.

Thank you for your response. :)

It feels strange because I haven't written orchestra music in a while and my skill is kinda bad.
