When I was listening to destiny, I was like, hey, what if a band played this. And now, here it is!

I like the chord progression. The sustain/release on that brass is a little wonky. It has an aggressive attack, but then cuts off abruptly each time. Maybe that's what you were going for, but I don't think it quite fits the smooth character of the rest of the first minute or so. It's also easy to tell that these instruments are fake, mostly because they have uniform timbres across notes. I would consider humanizing them (if that's possible in your DAW). I liked the part at :32. It's very majestic and atmospheric. I also liked the part with the piano arpeggios at 1:36. I think the piece could've used some stronger melodic content. The rhythm is very square throughout, so it has a bit of a stagnant feel. I understand you wrote this based on another piece, though. Overall, not bad! I like the percussion and the mood of it. Keep at it, man. ;)

W-in-K responds:

Yeah, ok. It was really just a little something for destiny-fans. (I'm not that good with cinematic). Just trying an idea out. For the destiny single, it's just a little flavor. Do you like the original song though? I'd edit the remastered and/or original destiny. I agree with the brass. It doesn't fit that well here. The brass is more suited for electronic, and I'm more suited for electronic (lol). orchestral editions of any song don't really sound as good as the original anyway.
