Ah, yes. Seek, and you shall find.
Friendships that involve people who are almost completely opposite to eachother actually can end up being the best ones. You learn so much about different viewpoints from them and they end up helping you understand things so much better. I think Love takes that into an even deeper level that's much more significant and dare I say… everlasting?
This part is significantly better than the previous one in my opinion, probably because you made the intro shorter. While I personally think this is an improvement, the song isn't nearly as long as it's older brother so it seems like you used a very sharp double-edged sword on this one. Still, it's better to have a short and sweet song that's enjoyable as opposed to a long song that kinda drags on. I guess sometimes that works in different genres, maybe. With the story you're telling, while shorter than it's predecessor, it's still just long enough to have what you were going for…the thing about songs like this is that they have to be a bit long so you have time to think while listening, so you can relate to it more.
So overall I think, with the story that you are telling in this series, that shorter songs that change more often aren't necessarily better, but instead there should be a nice sweetspot that is found in between… on other words, not too long and not too short. How long the sweetspot would be depends on what part of the story you're on, and I feel that so far all of the lengths of the songs so far have been have been almost perfect.
Also, the drums are really good in this song and I'm glad they stay for such a long time and that they're as loud as they are. It really helps to keep the song together. I'm also glad you managed to find vocals that were relevant to the song too.
You did a very good job, and I look forward to the final part!
So lovely. I love it.
I don't want to pick it apart even cause everything is so nice.
