An Excerpt From An Orchestral Dream

Its soundscape is mainly misterious, and a few gracious movementes here and there. It's divided in three parts, the first one being a sustained orchestra introduction, it's called "Dream Entrance". The second part introduces a bass guitar and an ensemble of strings, some pizzicato here and there and the woodwinds playing alongside the strings, this part is what I call "Stringey Flutey". And the last part includes a pipe organ (with a lot of swell) and the transition is marked by a heavily affected electric guitar. It also features a flute solo that leads you to the very end of the piece. The name for this third part is "A Clear Path To The End".

Also, if you are interested in using this or some other of my compositions, you are free to do so! As most (if not all) of my songs are released under a Creative Commons license.

This song is part of an original album that hasn't been released yet, but as I've received comments by some people that this could be used as a game theme or something, I thought "well, why not upload it to Newgrounds?".

I used an extensive ammount of free VSTs and Virtual Instruments. Just to name a few: Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra, Versillian Studios Chamber Orchestra 2 Community Edition (I bet some of you recognize this one ;D), Spaceship Delay, OrilRiver reverb, Necromare Celesta, and a lot more! The DAW I use is Reaper, which is an inexpensive tool for music creation!
