Good song indeed
I wasn't that into the song in the begin, but at 0:52 theres a very nice part with the piano. At 1:57 I could only think, "darn you bastard, for toying with my emotions with that touching music" The violin and piano combined at that moment made it very emotional for some reason. And if you can awaken emotion in your listeners you are doing a great job.
I'm definatly going to check out the rest of your songs, cause you seem to have great potential.
What I want to know
Who the hell down-rated this piece? (They are idiots)
I've recently come upon the beauty of classical music on Newgrounds...It seems like previous all I heard here was techno beats and crappy guitar solos.
Then, some magical string of actions somehow lead me to the classical section (I'm a fan of classical anyway, not sure why I hadn't checked it out earlier) and since then, I've been enjoying tons of classical/piano music, and this is definitely going on my favorites.
It has the ability to make one envision so many different stories, I'm surprised there haven't been more flash movies been made with it.
It just seems like it would be great for countless things, stunning job, beautiful piece of music.
This is really an incredible piece of art. I think it's so great not only because of the incredible music, but also because it allows such a vivid and beautiful picture to sprout forth. And it's such a unique image for everyone.
I saw the Machine as representing Mankind, what we have made and what we have accomplished. But it isn't what we have become, it's what we should have become. The world as the Gods envisioned is such a better place than what we have made it, and I want to go there every time I listen to it.
I'll be honest when I say that I was in a really bad mood (pissed off) before I turned this on, but it's really brightened up my day. I know I'll be listening to this for a very long time. Thanks for making such an awesome piece!
This has got to be one of the best classical songs I've heard on Newgrounds! When I listen to it, I envision something like an abandoned junk yard filled with older equipment, and eventually, a garden has taken place of the harsh metal graveyard...then clouds part and light appears shining on one spot and some form of metal manifestation rises...but hey, what do I know. I just started creating songs. Over all, this sounds very cinematic. Good job!
Would you mind checking out my submission? http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1434859&sub=740
Thanks alot man, the fact that you envisioned anything at all is the only reason that still put anything on the this site. You made my day, epic track by the way really kick ass first submission. Let me know when the next ones up.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
