I like the dramatic crash at the beginning, but I’m not sure how well it vibed with the atmospheric intro. There are a lot of dramatic and harsh-sounding synths in here - I think you need to equalize everything a little more carefully, and part of it may be that you overdid the reverb. You can’t use reverb to compensate for minimalism, which it seems like you’re trying to do at :55. It’s also easy to hear how overpowering the reverb is close to the end, at 2:40, for example. The kick also gets a little lost in the mix, mostly at the spacey part 1:50 or so. Some variation on the melody would’ve been quite welcome as well. I think the production and composition of this piece alike could use some cleaning up. I think you should focus on harmonizing going forward. Creating a full texture with only reverb and loud instruments doesn’t quite cut it in my book. I did think the piece was pretty catchy, though, and I enjoyed the melody. Keep at it, man!
