Step into the light uses one of the best sounds you can get on the Tyros workstation and that is a sampling preset which is a Mega voice, in MIDI programming velocity is measured between 0-127, Mega voices lay there different sampled notes on all 127 different velocity levels, meaning the voices (which are 10 voices on the whole keyboard because the voicing takes up so much space) are nearly impossible to play and are reserved for programming in mind. In this example I run the Tyros from Cubase after studying the Mega Voice tables for this particular sound which is a steel string guitar. I haven't got the guitár amazingly perfect yet, but with the proper sequencing practice I could achieve a authentic guitar (which I've heard some peoples programming and they can sound absolutely amazing). Recorded and Sequenced in Cubase using the Yamaha Tyros One as a sound module. I also used my Weltmeister 120 bass five coupler accordion.
