Easy Listening - Solo Instrument

This project began as a dance song, then I tried to turn it into an orchestral dance song. Ultimately, I was unhappy and decided to copy and paste the piano melody into a new document. I improvised for the rest of the piece. Well, I got as close as one can get to improvising in a piano roll.

I must have changed the key at least four times. It was easier than I thought it would be; you primarily just need to make the last melodic note of one key lead into the first melodic note of the next key (i.e. F>F# or B>C). I also switched scales from minor to major, at least twice.

I used a simple piano sample and a reverse piano, from Una Corda. Although Una Corda sounds amazing, it can be very inconsistent in quality, even in the exported file.

Edit: you can now use this in GD

A wonderful track. You can almost hear a story in it.

Girl has a dream, girl tries to make dream a reality, something gets in the way of dream, girl perseveres and again reaches for dream, achieving dreams becomes difficult, but after all the hardships, dream comes true in the end.

I could write a story inspired by this song. If I ever get the time to actually do so in between my novel and other projects, I'll be sure to show it to you.

I liked the beginning and the end. Some of the transitions were a little shaky.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I wonder if they sound shaky due to the way I composed them or from the plugin not working properly.
