I used a piano, reverse piano, and four string plugins. I mainly made this cover to practice using what I assume is a violin.

I am not trying to make any political statement by covering this song; I chose it because I love the melody.

It sounds much better with headphones.

I've left this on loop for a while now, and I'm really enjoying it! It seems you're learning quite quickly! The piano is so soft and sine in the background. The arrangement is so nice too. The piano somehow has a very deep and haunting, yet beautiful sound. You really nailed the piano. I know the reverse piano probably has to be the Una Corda, so can I assume the main piano you used is the same? If so, I really want it (not included in Komplete 10, you see, but once I update to 11 Ultimate I'll have it)!!! If not, I need to get better at using the other ones xD (which is true either way).

Speaking of, I think you used the perfect amount of release and reverb this time too.

As for the strings, I'm surprised you managed to use them this well on your first attempt! I know they're way better than any strings you've had before, but you really managed to make an impact with these! Perhaps it was easier when you already knew the melody. Sounds to me like the strings are more prominent in the left ear, and the piano in the right one, which is a good balance.

Personally, I think I would've added slightly more reverb to the strings. Not too much, but some. It would've been especially necessary at points where you kind of jump on the same/short notes, such as 0:48.

Either way, fantastic work! I really love it :O!!!
Keep it up ;)

Wow, I'm glad you love it :D

Usually whenever I upload a song, I have many regrets. I wish I spent more time on the project overall, I wish I added more depth, etc. But I was actually content with this cover.

Yeah, the reverse piano is the Una Corda. I believe I used the organ preset, which is a misleading name. I hope you can get it soon :D

The piano sounds better this time thanks to your advice!

I was hoping you would comment on the strings. I'm glad that they sound decent! I honestly just wrote the melody in the piano roll, opened up a few different string presets, and placed notes randomly into each channel, lol. Thanks for the reverb tip. I should have created an automation clip. You're correct, I panned the instruments slightly because I thought it would help the cover sound like a live performance.

Thanks for the review!
