Fly Away

What if there is a composer that could write music with the level of Two Steps From Hell, and at the same time he's homeless, smelly, dying and sleeping in a beat-up car. He also lives on canned food from donation.

I was evicted right before I got back to Toronto. Shit got thrown out. Practically broke. Been sleeping at my sister's place, but I don't want to bother her, so I've been sleeping in my smelly car. This track was made in the car, inside a mall parking lot.

Wish me luck. I wish sometime I could fly away.

love this one! beautiful :D

I0TA responds:

thank you! :)

I would normally give some criticism, but there's nothing off about this. It's absolutely amazing! Bravo! I'm adding this to my favorites!

I0TA responds:

thanks bruh, congrats for you making top of the week too.

Well you astound me, WaterBear, to be able to compose something so bright and halcyon amidst such conditions.

Oddly, my dad has been living out of his Civic for the past year. But even before he stopped taking his medication for a mental illness which has stolen his life, he's always been the kind of man to help everyone around him while neglecting himself. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm betting you're awful at asking for help from others; I'm hoping there's a friend nearby who realizes this and takes hold of your hand, at least to get you proper food and shelter for a bit. <3

I0TA responds:

Thank you very much for your review! :)

I hope your father will get better with his health and condition soon. My car is also a Civic. And you are right, I am shy from asking for help even when I was in the worst problem.

Thank you so much for your helpful thoughts! I wish the best luck to you and your dad. I really hope he get good soon. Take care.

This is incredibly beautiful!
In every way o.O

I didn't expect such a heavily melodic track from you! Reminds me a bit of Danny Elfman's work. Everything from the synths (arps), the claps (such a simple yet effective beat, btw), the dynamics, strings to the singer harmonise perfectly.

The loop is quite perfect too!

However, I think the render missed something at 2:36. You might want to look into that!

This is, as I said, an incredibly beautiful piece. So if there's a possibility to rerender it, you could make it even more amazing. Wonderful job with this. Really. You're always reaching new heights!
In that sense, I guess you might already be flying.

I0TA responds:

Thank you for your thoughtful review! I noticed the cut off but did not have time to record it again. I will fix it sometime this week. :)
