I love the static crackles and the tranquil and flowing vibe at the beginning. The melody at :25 is both cute and beautiful. Sounds like spring. <3 The mixing and mastering is air-tight as always with you, Midimachine. I like the subtle developments you made to the melody at 1:12. I wish you had varied the melody a bit toward the end of the piece, but overall the composition is quite impressive as well. The arpeggios at the 2-minute mark get me every time. :’) This piece is full of emotion and wonder. Perhaps you could’ve maximized the emotion by creating more of a breakdown somewhere in the middle, but the piece is short enough so I stay engaged throughout. I guess what I’m trying to say is...I don’t have any real criticism for you. You know I’m a sucker for ambient electronica. XD Keep up the great work, man!

This is really great. It's written well, mixed well, has a bunch of areas of interest so it doesn't get boring despite the simple progression. Tiny creative decisions that last for just a moment and aren't repeated or made a huge deal out of, like that Db major -> Db minor (I think?) change, are what make this really special.

What are those little crackles on the edge of the sound field? They work really nicely, but I'm curious about them. Also, I'm listening to this on my crappy TV and it still sounds great, which means you did a fine job with the production. Great stuff! :)

Great track, everything is mixed together really nice. I love the emotional impact you create very airy and chill. I'm not so great at giving out great descriptive feedback but i definitely couldn't find anything constructive or negative to say. It sounds great to me man, nice work

That´s unexpected... Wanted to leave a review in the R4R thread and stumble over a midimachine track. I´ll try my best. This is definitely a cute track. Mixing wise there is not much to say. At least not from my side since mixing is not one of my strengths.
I really like the sound and atmosphere of the track at the beginning. This slow attack instrument sounds awesome. The noise in the background which nearly sounds like an old record player and the certain glitch noises give a very "dreamlike" feeling. The build up till about 50 secs is quite nice. I have to say (probably a matter of taste) I don´t really like the sound of snare. I would have added some more "snapp" or noise to it and it would fit much better to the rest of the atmosphere of the track. Like this it appears to stand a bit outside of the track (also it feels a bit dry and separated roomwise). The hihat and snare rolls could be a bit more humanized imo or varied a bit, like with a little raising pitch or something.
I like the unexpected change at around 2:22. In general I liked the tranquil, dreamy atmosphere at the beginning more than the epic turn later on. It might be a bit repitative in some points but so is my last track, too. Respect for your one track each day task and good luck.... You did more tracks this year already than I did the whole last year ;)
