The piano itself has potential. There are moments that I rather enjoy but then it kind of goes off into some notes that just seem sour to me. This of course could just be me. All in all I think if you added more to this it could shine. The ending seemed natural to the song. So that is a plus as well. All in all I'd say its a decent job but needs a little more work.
Keep it up tho! A little more fine tuning and this song could really stand out!
Nice piano melody. However did you mean it to be a constant arpeggio? Cause i found it quite boring as it went on. Maybe you could have more variety in the melody so that it sounds more exciting. This would fit in some video game as the title theme, but without the last 9 seconds. Speaking of the last 9 seconds, try not to do that, doesn't sound that pleasant. Pay attention to what notes sound good with what. Overall nice melody but it goes on and on, with the only change in order is the end.
As I said to another review, I bear in mind that this was done in half an hour, so this review is pretty generous of you. I guess I should try making a piano track with more variation but the end of the semester is just wrecking me at the moment so it'll have to wait.
I know the ending is lame, I grew bored of making it so I cut it short. By the constant arpeggio, it's because this song was mostly copy and paste.
I appreciate the review, thanks for the ideas.
it sounds reeally robotic, you should play with velocities and timing of the keys a bit, so they don't always hit that perfectly on time and at same loudness. Also having a good piano vst really helps and opens new possibilities (e.g. some piano libraries for Kontakt 5).
Melody is OKish, but I would make at least a few bars of a different rhythm, slow down for a while or something.., it has some variations, but it still feels kinda the same from beggining to end
good luck with future creations :)
I appreciate someone who I look up to reviewing my song!
As I said, it was done in a short amount of time, more like a little idea, something to kill the boredom. I know it isn't polished, it doesn't sound amazing. I appreciate your comments and will look forward to getting better with piano.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
