That kind of sound you're using for the melody at 0:45, that's not the same sound you've used for most of your songs. Not only do I like it better, but it's easier on the ears imo. The melodies also sound a lot more varied than your previous songs. You could work on your melodies more from here, but I feel as though the baselines or percussion would do better with a bit of work on variation.

This is the beginning of an extensive series of songs. The whole point of this series is to create a sort of tract of evolution in the development of my songs. I'll TRY to get better and better with each song in the series. Of course, this is where it starts.
You know what? I expected less after hearing you talk so badly about this. This isn't too bad. Better than what I can make...Of course it's not 5/5, I only give that to things like Hinkik songs that I listen to for hours on end. Could use some synth fills in the back playing some chords, not sure what else to add, maybe a more complex melody? Whatever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Pretty good in my books, I don't know music at all though...
