Metal Slug 3 "Desert" Theme Remaster

So... I like jumping the gun too much, but now I've learned not too.

Two different mix-downs later and now I finally have a mix that I'm fairly happy with, a remake of the Desert theme from Metal Slug 3.

The drum midi was transcribed my me, referencing tabs for the song and the original version, and all guitar and bass work is by me. Synth midis were created from the tabs I've found using tux-guitar and tab-it's export functions into my DAW and modified accordingly to match up with the original (the trumpet harmony and the little details in the brass lead section were added on in this process).

And then it took a few days to come up with a mix that I could be happy with... the first one that I made was uploaded it and well I immediately realized it was a goof, so that's gone. I did a second mix, but listening to it in my car and in other sources, it was also a goof.

And the Third mix was just right... well, it's not the ungodly mess that the first one was and wasn't the muffled mash the second one became.

Hope you Guys like! I appreciate any critiques on the overall mix and tips for the future.
