So I've been keeping this for a while, but it's taking longer than I thought it would to finish the deluxe edition of Piercing Lazer's "The Other Side" record. It will have vocals, but it isn't coming out until sometime 2017.
This song is a love letter to Newgrounds, about how this is my second home. This is about how I felt like I would amount to nothing when I was 16, but when Tom Fulp gave me that offer for Castle Crashers, and started frontpaging my A.I.M. contests, I began to see hope for myself and how I could be myself and people love the things I've done.
I can't tell you how great that feels, after struggling with a life-long battle with depression then breaking out of it. This is about how i felt like a "deadbeat" pretty much, but how this site helped me find my calling in life and kept me going, taking me as far as I am now, and going farther. I can't wait to add vocals to this in 2017.
Wordy description, right? My influences for the sound were Limp Bizkit, P.O.D., The Birthday Massacre, Slipknot, Korn, Skillet, Flyleaf, and Deftones.
