The first time I heard Banana Phone was in a Newgrounds Flash animation
where the song was recalled and remembered as a sng stuck in someone's head.
Attempting to beat the song out of head, the comedy Flash lead the song to me
While producing The Story Experiment in 2006; I got curious what would happen
if the satellite cell phone song sounded equally as memorable in Audacity
and Cakewalk (as was true in WinAmp and Native Instruments Traktor) and parts
of the song stuck with me and while composing Go Bananas! with House and Hip-Hop
composed and highpasses and audio arranging elements added Track 5 came alive!
The "And we don't stop" was put into a white inexpensive RadioShack PC mic
at the time [this was a while before getting the Shure Beta 87A
and Hallway-play on the piano with heavy echos has the intro and bridge
relayed with a kind of retro early sound that guides into a mixing dancworthy
breakbeat for all to enjoy while framing-in-art, gaming-on-console-or-PC and
enjoying playing unheard or unusually un-typical tunes for the dance floor =)
