-----Sparky's Notes-----

After a fifth recording and still messing up, I gave in to just post my most recent work. I'm practicing more live work (the acoustics is just a digital instrument, but the learning curve for the real thing applied), and I feel that i'm just getting worse at it. The more I seem to do music, the more I end up learning - but I swear my songs are just not what they could be.

Plus it doesn't help that my hands have been a bit shaky, hence some of the instrumental cutoffs at odd tempo points. Discouragement happens incredibly easy, especially as of late. I don't exactly have a mentor or teacher, or anyone I can collaborate with to learn new styles or improve my own. My way of learning seems to be just taking the leap and trying out a new style for myself.

Maybe i'm getting defensive for nothing, but i'm becoming a bit nervous uploading songs.

NEVER GIVE UP!!!! The old saying is "practice makes perfect".
The intro was captivating, but then things got a bit repetitive...

My feeling here is...

and I mean this sincerely, is that you have here the bones of of an intense orchestral masterpiece. A fundamental simplicity that can be built upon to be an explosive work, If you don't do it, you can bet some Newgrounder will listen to this and will.. :)

MisterMonroe responds:

I see what you mean, but yeah. I've been doing this since 2010, and I definitely feel like my skill should be way higher than it is, but I guess people have different pacing.

It'd be amazing if someone could build upon this though. Who knows?

Thanks for the words and rating, it really helps.
