I can picture the protagonist(s) trecking through wooded mountains and then wide open plains. For and adventure though, especially if you are composing with a scene/story in mind, try to incorporate a crescendo in there towards the end; give it that dramatic build-up you would hear in the movies as an obstacle is overcome by the travelers, and then give it a resolution. Cinematic music should tell just as much of a story as the film itself.
That being said, I still really enjoyed this piece. Keep it up!!
