This song is the clean-cut image of true music mastery. And the second drop just plain blew me away. How has this never been frontpaged?
This is some next-level shit right here.
First of all, the atmosphere. I enjoyed how the song conveys a message, something almost none of today's music does well, if at all. It really hits me in the feels department. The melody is varied, dynamic, and inspiring, and it adds to the atmosphere.
The mastering is quite professional. It's not something that makes or breaks the entire song in my opinion, but it definitely helps. I really like the quiet, subdued buildups. They have a nice "calm before the storm" feel as opposed to the typical loudness war of your usual everyday dubstep track. In the drop, the bass is quite loud, but I think it adds to the power. It never interferes with the melodic content, which is very nice. The second drop is nothing short of incredible. Thou shalt shed manly tears.
I think the only real problem with the track was the ending. No, I don't mean the fact that it HAS an ending (although that kinda sucks too tbh), I mean the ending itself. The last 10 seconds of the song feel really obligatory and somewhat shoehorned in. At that point, the song has basically already ended. Before that, the outro is atmospheric and downright chilling. The sudden shift to an upbeat tone is quite jarring. If you had cut the song off at 3:31 and extended the last note further, it likely would've been perfect.
Overall, though, here's another one for my favorites. You've created feels that I thought only Xtrullor could achieve. Very good job here.
Wow. The second drop, it blows me away. Unexplainably amazing.
Really like it. Did you draw any inspiration from some of the music in Skylanders for this song? It's just that this song reminds me of one of those games...
nah, i've never played it. it's purely from my heart! :3
