The ship had crashed not too far from the shore.
I swam to a place I'd never been before.
I struggled for days, and they turned into weeks,
As the sun and the stars shone down on me.

Now I'm lost & afraid,
No I can't take

I now reconcile,
The fear and denial,
But I won't accept that I will rot to bone.
