This is a pretty nice song. There are quite a few things that do need a bit of work though. First off, the ambient pluck has a click/pop sound at the beginning. Another thing that could probably be fixed is the rim-shot snare. It's louder than pretty much everything and could be mixed in better. The hat panning is a bit strange and should have a static position. It helps keep the song focused and not all over the place (literally). For some instruments it's fine to do it, but for some it just messes with the mix and feel. It also could use reverb. By itself it sounds very dry.

The transition to the drop was pretty much nonexistent. It was completely out of nowhere. Also, the style and feel of the track completely changed in such a short amount of time, which, to be honest, didn't sound very good. Then at the buildup the switching between the two styles didn't fit together very well. Then the drop was basically the same as the break, which made it pretty repetitive. The saws are really loud and drown out a lot of the other elements of the mix.

The rest of the song is really almost the same as the first half. The only difference I could really pick out was the saws being automated at the second drop. The ending is underwhelming, and really sounded abrupt and incomplete. Any sort of automation could have helped with it, but unfortunately it wasn't really there.

Mostly this piece is repetitive. There were a few transitions that I didn't like and the mixing was subpar in some sections. Other than that, I liked the feel that the beginning gave. It was nice and ambient and it sounded like it would have lead up into a track that was very diverse. I was honestly a bit disappointed by the drop because it took a total u-turn, but I really did like the beginning.

6/10

Nice! It reminds me of the ambient music in portal 2.
