Dramatic and atmospheric, nice bassline, could do with some more variation. One sound I did like in particular was the bitcrushed "yaiy" kinda sound, I've heard it before, but here it seems especially loose, interesting and clean...
It could but then it wouldn't be background music for an intro/intermission anymore i think :3
And funny you should mention, i've had this downsampler for years like it was one of the first couple of things i got after scoring a better "go to" compressor and limiter for my mastering chain and incidentally the first time in years i've used it modulated this blatantly.
Like normally speaking i'll just leave it passive on something set to very subtle in order to warm a sound up a bit or make it less obviously digital sounding etc.
Very retro and full of laid-back energy--for a new-wave electro beat, of course. Killer bass, lovely synth, and the wind-like sound effect was the icing on the cake.
Believe it or not, these are all synths including the beat and that wind/woosh effect :3
Oh my god. That bassline is melting my brain. Really nice '80s vibe.
Thanks for listening.
Really enjoying all the synthwave stuff you've been making! I've been making some myself, it's a lot of fun
Yeah it's fun to work on plus the bar is not set crazy high ( imo ) on account of the synths themselves being the main attraction, which for me is just perfect cus i really enjoy sound design.
I have growing interest in this Retro wave music or how they call it
Get in on the action while it's still niche.
