Hi Newgrounders, I'm here again with some new stuff I'd like to share with you.
I decided to get over again Pokemon battle themes, and this time I took a serious one... The great Champion Gary battle theme from Pokemon Red and Blue was my choice to complete my Pokemon League Champion collection (except for Alder and Diantha) and I did, as always, a strong electro-symphonic arrangement to give it some more epicness and strength.
For the very very first great League Champio of all story, please, welcome Champion Gary's theme. Thank you so much!

...Wow, you're a on a freakin' ROLL with these Kanto themes, aren't ya? XD Let's do this!

From the beginning already, we can hear these epic/intimidating choirs, so I'm guessing that this one's gonna be more on the orchestral side than the electronic side. I like how you kept the fanfare sound effects goin' on ever since it got remixed by the Pokemon Company. You even added electric guitars, too, which fits what the Fire Red remix was going for, and boy my ears are LOVIN' IT! Seems like you're really nailing this one.
The one critic I'd have aside these positive ones up there is that I'm starting to feel what TaintedLogic was saying in his review: this theme, like many from the Pokemon ones/video game gere in general, is quite repetitive, and though it is MEANT to be and you, as usual, added an epic ending to avoid it being a simple loop, it sounds like an enhanced version of the original theme - which is awesome - but it feels... "lacking of your own spin", so to speak. For example, compared to your Sylph Co. or Team Rocket hideout themes, you didn't add anything else than just what you got from the original theme. It's not bad in itself. Simply, I wonder if you shouldn't keep experimenting and add things as you keep remixing these tracks.
Food for thought! (Because if what you were going for WASN'T to personalize it and stay true to the original, then mission accomplished)

Mind you, it wasn't really a complain, because as a video game fan, I can't be any less happy that you remastered what is basically my FAVORITE Pokemon Champion theme, I can't thank you enough for that. Also? You mentioned Alder and Diantha, but... I do hope that you'll remix Iris' Champion theme as well. I know she's unpopular and all, and her theme's perceived as girly because of how bouncy it is, but do consider adding that one to your collection too. I'm sure it'll be worth the shot ;)

Cheers!

I simply love your amazing reviews and how you apply your wide Pokemon knowledge to my music... Man, I can see you're a true fan and I like it very much.
I feel grateful because there is at least one person there who really pays attention, knows what we are talking about and really listents to the whole material and makes an objective criticism.

As for what you say about being repetitive... I'm in a small dilemma, because here in my country we're making a whole bunch ok Pokemon parties and events in which people are invited to celebrate all the Pokemon events we're having this year, and as a Nintendo's fan musician I've been committed to play Pokemon music in all the events... But I was asked for playing theme as close as possible to the original ones, so, that's why I'm making the arrangements in an orchestral way to make them sound more epic and keeping close to the original, and exactly this month there will be a Pokemon GO event in where I'm gonna play all the Kanto repertory plus the new Pokemon GO themes (that I will submit too). And well, I used this season too to improve my orchestration techinques... I like making close-to-the-original covers too... But, as soon as I finish this Pokemon music horde, I have a lot plans... I want to keep remixing Bowser themes, have some ideas for Kirby Air Ride soundtrack but I also have to go to school and job, so... I have not the time I could wish to have.
So, don't be dissapointed, as soon as I return to my habitual remixing manner, I will do better mixes as before, meanwhile, keep enjoying this material that I think it's still awesome, just like you!
Thank you very much for your interest and support, Fyrem. Be looking forward for more mixes!
