Spoiler Alert!
This is a song off my new and upcoming album, The New Dirt. I figured NG would be a fine place to quietly get some listens in before the record comes out. ;)

A song I wrote a couple years ago in Montreal. My friend Sea Beau plays some music box and sings on it.

I've not forgotten about Newgrounds just yet!

That choir sample instantly reminded me of Delerium. Drums sound pretty much spot on. I feel some of the FX are a bit loud in the mix in the first minute or two, they shouldn't be as close as they are to your vocal samples in volume.

After 1:15 you get a bit atonal, and while I understand this is an experimental piece, I feel you achieved a sort of unity up to that point, and went a little to far there, then you come back to unity around 1:30-1:40, I really like the rising tension at 1:40+ I like the extreme StarCraft-like distorition at 2min, and the beat that follows is a nice ambient piece.

The drums really unify it at that point. Again some of the FX are pushing the volume a bit, but not by much.

I'm partial to experimental stuff, I like this track overall. I like that you understand the importance of reverb. And I mostly appreciate the vibe of this song.

I think the composition could be a touch tighter, and that your mixing could also be a touch tighter, mostly the things I mentioned here in this review, great track though and I appreciate it.

I love the ambiance, this song deserves at least 4 stars. It is definitively a song I can sit and relax to while bobbing y head to the beat.
