Glad you liked :D

Love the guitar tones, especially the leads. The melodies here are really quite beautiful, without losing some of the initial heaviness already established by the rhythm guitar in the beginning. The break in the middle is really well done, with some nice lead guitar nuances in the background, bringing us back to the main chord progression with ease and smoothness. Only complaint would be the volume of the kick drum is a little too high (for my taste, anyway) and this song would definitely benefit from a real drummer, and maybe even some complex drum fills to add to the emotional intensity. Overall, really solid and enjoyable piece. Plus, it's nice to see another rock musician in this participating in this competition :P

Thanks for the review :P

Wow. Just... wow. This is incredibly well made. I'm not a huge fan of rock, but this has really caught my attention. Kudos, this is great. Good luck with your submission :)

JDawg00100 responds:

Thanks for the kind words :)

Frick, I was hoping you wouldn't be on your A game for the NGAUC. Makes me wish I had spent longer EQing mine, because you did a really great job with the mixing. And it's just a really cool-ass song in general. Good luck!

JDawg00100 responds:

Thanks, good luck to you as well!

Beautiful. Very nice guitars. Lots of real emotions in this track, makes me ignore the bit thin drums. I know how hard it can be to mix those. All the best.

JDawg00100 responds:

Thanks :D
