Et maintenant, Français par un imposteur.

So...this is for this year's AIM contest (wow I got 3rd place!) and I really went crazy because I've got a lot going on and I just want to smush a cat into oblivion. I also constructed a small prose of French lyrics to go along and then I was like what am I doing okay let's go?! Perhaps the imbalance of this piece, especially with random English jargon, is a subconscious shadow of my subtle emotional turmoil.

Song is thoroughly inspired by a neat doodad by leflip:

The general lyrics:

Balançant ici,
Perdant du temps.
En attendant de rien,
Se demandant.
Je peux entendre,
Tous les signaux.
Mais, je me balance,
Juste au cas où.

My intended translation:

Swinging here,
Wasting time.
Waiting for nothing,
I can hear,
All the signals.
But, I swing,
Just in case.

Woah, I've never heard you sing.....your's soothing and...god just beautiful! This is one of the more unique pieces in the contest. This is a beautiful mix of classical/folk music and electronic slow waltzing or...whatever you call this. I love what you did with the vocals to incorporate it into the song. This is a masterpiece. This is one of the best songs I've heard from you. Reflects the piece in a whimsical playful way, and does it well, as well as paint more than what's in the picture.

There are so many layers in this sound...holy crap. I am touched by this song. Splendid job! Great mixing, great variation, sounds like it should be in a good musical.
